BSc Physics and Electronics

This programme aims at providing students with scientific knowledge, skills, values and attitudes required for them to competently apply physics and electronics concepts in solving real life problems in this age of technology and engage in entrepreneurial activities.

The courses offered under this programme are: End user Computing, General physics I; General physics II; General Chemistry I, Precalculus, Communication Skills I, General Chemistry II, Calculus, Communication Skills II, PC Management and Maintenance, Electromagnetism; Classical mechanics I; Classical mechanics II; Device and Analogue Electronics; Classical and Statistical Thermodynamics; Fundamentals of Quantum mechanics; Digital Electronics and Design; Circuit Theory; Fundamentals of Nuclear Physics, Signals and systems; Fundamentals of Optoelectronics and Photonics; Fundamentals of Solid State Physics; Communication Physics; Introduction to Electronics; Introduction to Programming in C++; Modern Physics; Introduction to Statistical Analysis; Multivariate Calculus; Geophysics; Basic Radiation Physics; Introduction to Multisim and LaTeX; Introduction to MATLAB and Mathematica; Ordinary Differential Equations; Practical  Electronics; Applied Mathematics; Research Methods; Introduction to Computational Physics, and Entrepreneurship.

Entry Requirements: MSCE or its equivalent with an aggregate of not more than 30 points in the best six subjects with at least  credits  in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or additional Mathematics, English and in two other subjects
