BSc Nursing and Midwifery (Upgrading)

Provides an opportunity to nurse midwife technician to upgrade to registered nurse midwife thereby improving the quality of nursing and midwifery education, practice and research in Malawi to meet the health needs of the nation and worldwide

Entry Reequirements

• Should be in possession of a college Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery Technician obtained from a recognized institution
• Current registration with Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi
• A Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent with 6 credits in English, Physical Science or physics and Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and any other two subjects
• A minimum of 3 years clinical working experience post NMT qualification
