The department of Biomedical Sciences is one of the three programmes in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Mzuzu University. It was established in 2007 in response to the serious shortage in the health sector, particularly in the diagnostics section. The staff members in the department are involved in various activities including teaching, research and community services. Our department is committed to providing outstanding education and ground-breaking research in the biomedical sciences.
